Ever had a wine that tastes like you're drinking a lazer? Well, we've made one - Alluvium. The epic vineyards we source this from are just around the corner from our Gumeracha winery in Birdwood. The Fiano (along with some Nero) was grafted from Sauvignon Blanc back in 2015!
This wine is in peak form in 2022. Its definition and tension has not been this pronounced in a few vintages - the acid is thrilling, crackling and ready to burst out of the bottle. Texturally it's on point, less waxy than some of the others in the range which really suits this leaner style. All grapefruit pith, perfectly ripe pineapple, guava, kaffir lime and jasmine tea, with that great mineral feature aromatically.

The only problem this year is the slim pickings!
