Greco is the lesser-known grape variety hailing from Campania, playing second fiddle to Fiano more often than not, and commonly used as a blending component in local table wine. After experimenting with it in 2019 in what we called Unico Greco, we deemed this to be vastly underestimating the potential for brilliant wine that can be crafted from Greco - particularly with extended skin contact. So we committed and crafted this: Terra Cotta. A textural delight with plenty of racy acid and bound together with a crystalline tannin structure, full of apricots, brioche and a lick of coconut and almond. This Greco means some serious business, for a variety that is not taken as seriously as it should be.
