Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again. Big red cherry, cranberry vibrancy, crisp golden apples, slate minerality, toasted cumin-like spice, fennel fronds - little bit going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer.

We were really stoked on the first release of this wine and we've decided to back it up again. As is the nature of a wine like this, the blend has changed this year. Merlot dominant this year (40%) with Syrah (30%) then the remainder is made up with some Pinot Gris and Gewurtztraminer. The result has a touch more body than last year's iteration but still has that bright light, easy drinking appeal of the previous iteration. Big red cherry, cranberry vibrancy, crisp golden apples, slate minerality, toasted cumin-like spice, fennel fronds - little bit going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer that's über pleasant to drink. Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again, and we're rather pleased with it.
