Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again. Big red cherry, cranberry vibrancy, crisp golden apples, slate minerality, toasted cumin-like spice, fennel fronds - little bit going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer.

We were really stoked on the first couple of releases of this wine and we've decided to back it up again. As is the nature of a wine like this, the blend has shifted again this year. Touriga Nacional leads the charge with Grenache in support, and the remainder is made up of some Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. The result is a touch more floral and perfumed than previous iterations, but still firmly in that bright, light, easy-drinking lane we love it for. Violets and dark cherry lift, pomegranate and red plum, a hint of lychee and rose petal from the aromatic whites, white pepper, dried herbs, fennel fronds — plenty going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer that's über pleasant to drink. Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again, and we're rather pleased with it.
