We’ve been enamoured with Alfrocheiro since we tried this producer. This is the wine to try to see what we see in it. It’s often called the "Pinot Noir of the South" for a reason—it is incredibly aromatic and lifted. Think crushed wild berries, blue fruits, violets, and a hit of pine forest floor jumping out of the glass. Texturally, this thing is sublime: medium-bodied and silky, but with that signature granite minerality and a "crunchy" acidity that cuts through it all beautifully. It’s juicy, spicy, and outrageously drinkable. Get Alfrocheiro affiliated.
