Few wines cross the Bottle Shock tasting bench and raise eyebrows like this one did - cheap, good Pinot Noir is an oxymoron - except for this wine - it seems to break physics...weird...not complaining!

Koerner's take on this Italian classic is all fruit and no fuss; destemmed berries are macerated for two weeks to extract vibrant colour, while 18 months of rest pre-bottling gives the tannin time to soften out alongside the racy acid. A great varietal expression and a showcase of the best the Adelaide Hills has to offer.
