Harvest Sauvignon Blanc
Northern Adelaide Hills Grower's Cooperative
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Birdwood, Adelaide Hills
Soil: Alluvial Quartz-Shot Clay
Method: 12 hours skin contact, lees stirred once a week for 3 months, matured in stainless steel
A simple wine for good times, sitting aside from the typical bright fruit bowl aromas this grape variety is known for - and instead opting for a more savoury, herbaceous style with a hint of texture providing interest and tactility.
Notes on the 2017 Vintage: In stark contrast to recent vintages, the 2017 Harvest provided optimal conditions for us to craft wines that emphasis their natural acidity and vibrant texture. A long, slow ripening period characterised by cool weather, without many incidents of rain. For our style of winemaking, this vintage was ideal and we’re super excited to release these wines!
