Friday Fluff Pieces #2
We're into week 2. It's definitely not getting easier, not by a long shot, but what we keep seeing, or at least what we keep choosing to see, is how amazing human beings are in adversity. For the most part, we're seeing amazing flashes of creativity, compassion and everyone coming together to share the good moments, and comfort each other in the bad. That's what we're all about.
Speaking of good moments - more Friday Fluff! This week, more kids being awesome, pets being the best and a gentle reminder that our dad's are the greatest. When you can hug your dad again, hug your dad again. Real tight.
Booze recommendation this week? It's another beer, this time from the Stone & Wood Beer Club (I swear we'll do some wine soon - a mixed six from Different Drop is on it's way!). Every 4-6 weeks they send 2 of their 500ml limited edition, once brewed beers - In the first pack you'll get, along with the beer, a special hat and two of these neat little glasses (250ml in size so you can split the 500ml down the middle with a isolation buddy, or like me, drink it twice). This month, is their 'G3' Hazy DIPA (it's like they knew we needed a real stiff one this month) and it's a bitter pineapple juice face exploder. For all of you non beer people DIPA is Double Indian Pale Ale, and they're boozy - in this case, 7.6% ABV Boozy. It's a big boi, but it's well balanced, and is far more drinkable than you expect, as it's inspired by their flagship Pacific Ale, that makes a lot of sense. Personally, having been a Beer Club Member since day dot, this is one of the best yet. For us, it's an awesome way to promote a great, sustainable business and brewery doing incredible things - a Certified B Corporation (like us!) that have been making incredible beverages since literally the last economic collapse... Plus they just shouted the Unico Crew 4 Cases of Beer so quite frankly, they're bloody legends (don't worry we sent them some wine). On to the fluff!
