Friday Fluff #8

Friday Fluff #8-Unico Zelo

We're back for fluffy times! Jeez was that only 2 weeks? Far out, time has lost all meaning - Elon and Grimes had a baby that will one day rule over us all on Mars, ol' mate Alan Jones is off the air, and we're seeing the beginning of the end of the restrictions! Honestly, there really hasn't been many more times in recent memory that i've been this proud to be an Australian - there's a long way to go, thats for sure, but we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Anyways fluff and booze. We've got some Queensland wine here! I know what you're thinking: "Queensland makes wine? Is it bad? I feel like it would be really bad." Yes! Queensland does make wine! Yes! Some of it is bad but there's bad wine everywhere, but THIS wine is absolutely delicious. It's from a teeny tiny producer from the Granite Belt called La Petit Mort, and they specialise in Amphora or Clay aged wines, this, their 'Gentil Qvevri' being one of them. A 83 day skin-contact blend of Muscat, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer that's as complex as it is smashable. Textural, juicy and structured as all heck, get amongst this good gear from the North West - get acquainted with the new guard of Queensland Wine!
